DISCLAIMER FOR PRINT ON DEMAND

The majority of our publications are produced as Print-On-Demand, a digital, eco-friendly form of publishing. Single or multiple books are only printed as ordered, so there is very little waste. Distribution usually occurs in a global supplier location closest to where the order was made, resulting minimal freight resources and reduced delivery time.

While the quality can be almost indistinguishable from traditionally-printed books, the digital print process will result in variation of printed outcomes. Those variations may affect paper, print finish and binding. Allowing for the expected variability of Print On Demand, always contact the print supplier first for any purchases that are unacceptable.

When economic to do so, we may also produce publications through traditional print technologies such as ‘offset’ or ‘web’ printing. The great advantage of these methods is that a wider range of materials, formats and embellishments are available, and the unit cost can be very low. However it is not unusual to print the equivalent of hundreds of books before the quality of printing is commercially suitable and, as many are aware, great quantities of unsold books are usually pulped, or remaindered. Whether you're a reader, an author, a maker, or a publisher, we believe this approach should be minimised.
